Sharing some BIG news

It’s with a full heart that I share some big news: After five incredible years of growing and leading Seed Virtual Assistants, I’m proud to announce a new chapter. Adrienne Donnelly will be stepping in as the new owner to carry Seed forward! This is a significant moment for our entire community, and I’m excited to share it with all of you.

Many of you have been part of this journey from the beginning, and some may even remember when I shared my craving for more in-person connection. That moment sparked a lot of conversations and ultimately led to the creation of The Social Hub Young—a second venture with Nat, who has been an integral part of Seed’s story.

Deciding to sell Seed wasn’t easy, but it feels like the best move for both me personally and for the future of this incredible business and community. Continuing to hold onto Seed would only hold it back—and that’s not what this community deserves.

While I’ll miss it dearly, I’m immensely proud of what we’ve built together and confident that Adrienne will bring fresh energy and perspective while keeping Seed’s heart and core values—community, connection, and authenticity—very much alive.

When I started Seed, it wasn’t just about creating a business—it was about creating a life. A life where I could be home with my babies, build relationships with inspiring people, and be part of a ripple effect that has touched so many families. Watching people, especially women, choose to start their own businesses, create their own income, and support their families has been the most fulfilling part of this journey.

The relationships and friendships built through this community have been one of the greatest gifts. I’ll forever treasure the trust, connection, and collaboration that came from working with so many talented, driven individuals.

So, what does this mean for you as a part of this community? Everything you love about Seed will continue as before, and some more of Adrienne’s spin. Adrienne is deeply aligned with the values and vision that have always been at the heart of Seed. She has been a member of this community since November 2021 and brings a wealth of experience, including founding her own VA business almost a decade ago, and co-founding the Newcastle VA Community six years ago. Her passion and expertise make her the perfect person to lead Seed into its next chapter.

Over the next four months, Adrienne and I will work closely on an extensive handover process to ensure a smooth transition. I’m not going anywhere just yet and will be here to guide and support the process.

I’m so excited for what the future holds for Seed and see this as a hugely positive step, creating new opportunities for Adrienne, the business, our incredible members, and the current and future VAs who are part of this amazing community.

Your input and trust are so important to us, and we want you to feel appreciated, supported, and valued every step of the way. If you have any immediate questions, please reach out to me on via [email protected] or Adrienne via [email protected] and we can chat further.

Thank you for being such an integral part of Seed’s story so far. I’m beyond excited to see what lies ahead for this amazing community! 💛

With gratitude,
Amy
